Hot Slide is a free racing video game created by Tapcheer for mobile devices. It’s an online racing game that lets players participate in high-speed solo or team battles against other players across the world. There are various cars to unlock and multiple locations, weather, and terrain to race in.

Similar to CarX Drift Racing 2, drifting is the main focus and makes up the majority of the driving mechanics in Hot Slide. The cars that you’ll collect in the game are divided into classes, each one having its own unique physics and driving characteristics to familiarize yourself with.

How is Hot Slide played?

Hot Slide is a pickup and play type of game, but it will be a difficult one to fully master. For controls, the game only requires your thumb to control and steer your car. Also, it's played in portrait orientation and has a top-down view for the actual races themselves, making it a good choice for on-the-go casual gaming.

The two standout aspects of Hot Slide are focused on its drifting mechanics and its online PvP battles. You can unlock more than 30 unique cars in the game, and they will be classified under Muscle, Street, Off-Road, or Super Car. They all have unique driving physics that you need to get accustomed to as you race against other players.

Hot Slide features multiple locations that you can race in. In addition, they also have dynamic weather conditions and types of terrain to take into consideration when you choose which car to drive, adding further difficulty to your races. Its match-up system needs more work and attention, though, as it often ends up unbalanced and matches you with higher-leveled opponents.

Fast-paced and intense drifting battles

If you're a fan of drifting or racing in general, then Hot Slide is an easy game to recommend. There are plenty of cars to collect and play around with, and their unique driving characteristics make for an added complexity to the game. Match-ups can sometimes be unfair, though, but it doesn't take away from the fun and challenge that this game provides.
